Our Story

EventSmith Productions was formerly known as J&D Productions. The company was officially established in 2009 by Jessica Williams. Jessica shot her first wedding on 08/08/08 for a college friend from China. After graduating from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in Spring 2009, she was asked to shoot another friend’s wedding… Then another friend… then another. Just like that a passion for capturing one of life’s happiest moments became a full-time profession that we absolutely love! As we grew over the years, our team has expanded to include more photographers, cinematographers, as well as several photo and video editors. Based in the Houston-Galveston area, we love shooting all kinds of photography and videography, but specialize in weddings and special events. We love what we do and the people we get to meet every day. The best part about our job are the connections we make and lasting friendships we form. You may walk in the door as a client but you most definitely will leave as a friend.
